Cumberland County official kick-off!

Paperless Solutions is happy to announce that we have officially kicked off our Case Management, Online Viewer and e-Filing project with the Prothonotary of Cumberland County, Mr. Dave Buell.

Cumberland County Prothonotary David Buell announced a new e-filing system Wednesday aimed at saving taxpayers time and money.
The new system allows attorneys and the public to file and view case documents from their home or office computers. Buell said the innovation transforms his office from an 8-hour, 5-days-a-week service into a 24/7 operation.
“It’s not that we don’t want you to come to the courthouse, because we enjoy serving you, but this system will allow you to do business with us 24/7, saving you time, money and gas,” he said.
Paperless Solutions, based in Bensalem, designed the new e-file system and has specialized in document management solutions for 14 years.
“I wanted to be confident that the solution we chose would be easy to use, both for case search and for e-filing,” Buell said. “This system has proven success in other counties in the state and will ensure that we are providing the best, most cost-effective customer service that we can.”
Buell said during a news conference Wednesday the cost of the new system does not impact the general fund — costing taxpayers virtually nothing.
Buell said the new system was part of his three-step plan to enhance the prothonotary’s office with technology and innovation. Elected to his fourth term in 2009, Buell and his staff have updated office policy and procedure, improved PFA processing, access and archiving of public records and naturalization and passport photo availability.
Buell said he anticipates the launch date for the new system will occur within 4-6 months.
